Looks good! Our tree is up and the decorating is pretty much done. Strangely enough the tree that seemed so big in our old house seems perfectly fine in this one.  I spent the morning helping my parents move some stuff but while I was doing that my wife got some presents wrapped. I still have all my wrapping to do but at least my shopping is done except for a few stocking stuffers.

Super scary. They made a bad connection (mixed up positive and negative terminals) and the breaker didn't trip. This was smoking on their garage when I spotted it

Ive got to say, I like the angled fireplace arrangement, looks like it would do a good job throwing heat into the room.

Just got back from Christmas shopping. It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World. Not leaving the house again until Dec 25th.

Hallmark puts out a John Deere decoration every year. I have these and don’t use them anymore. They’re yours if you’d like.

We got our tree and lights up thanksgiving weekend, per tradition. We added some extra lights this year. And every year I get the new hallmark Star Trek ornament, and my wife gets the new Norte Dame one.

Physically, we’ve been ready for a while. The kids have been super excited, so we put the decorations up early.

Mentally, I'm still getting there. We're expecting child number three - the due date is Boxing Day (the day after Christmas). It's going to be really challenging, but at least I was able to save the bulk of my vacation time so I can be around to help with the other two kids (ages 4 and 2).
